We at dub Languages believe that we offer our clients more. The following are just some of the unique selling points which we believe distinguish us from the rest of the market:
Online learning exchange
Each
group is given their own, password-protected page
on our website, meaning these in-class podcasts are
not open to the general public. These pages are
also used to hold course documents and provide a
forum on which our students can communicate with
their teacher and with each other, to discuss
homework assignments for example.
Recorded lessons
We
are the only language school in Switzerland to make
recordings in the classroom of every one of our
lessons. These recordings are then uploaded to our
website, from where they are distributed to our
students in the form of a free podcast. Later on
our clients can listen on their mp3 players, on the
train, in the car - wherever and however they wish.
We find this has many benefits for our clients,
such as allowing them to listen to their
pronunciation, hear again explanations of grammar,
revise for exams and more.
Tailor-made, carefully structured
courses
We produce an individual course planner for every
one of our courses. Designed by the teacher with
input from the students, this provides both parties
with a structure for the course, outlining the
content for each class and related grammar point,
homework activities, scheduled progress tests or
mock exams and holidays. This enables us to focus
on what’s most important and work steadily towards
our goal within the set time restraints.
Regular tests and complimentary mock
exams
We
offer regular mock exams for our exam preparation
classes at no additional cost. These provide a
realistic idea of expected results, as well as
allow students to become familiar with the
structure of the exam paper prior to the big day.
In addition, we give regular progress tests in all
of our language courses. These are designed
specifically for each group, based on class
content. The results of these tests show students
how much progress they are making and provide
feedback on areas to improve.
The
above mentioned factors are of course in addition
to the traditional values of customer service and
teaching.
